The main objective of TV Index project is providing information on Russian national, network, and regional TV channels audience size and scope.
Within the framework of TV Index TNS measures audience characteristics for TV channels, programmes, blocks of commercials and commercials. These data are indispensable for efficient programming and media planning:
Amount of measured channels:
Sample represents the population of Russia aged 4+ living in cities with over 100,000 population — 64 622 thousand people. The complete sample volume amounts for 3 422 households.
Research is conducted in 65 Russian cities.
To measure TV audience TNS uses special electronic devices — TV meters — wich precisely record all every switching on and over TV channels.
Research is conducted al the year round.
