News Monitoring

Project purpose:

• Analysing information in mass-media, selecting materials at client's request (press-clipping), making electronic reports in accordance with special parameters.
• Evaluation of information space and PR-campaigns effectiveness.

News monitoring, including press-clipping and published materials analysis, has been conducted since 2003 by TNS Media Intelligence Russia.

Our modern technologies  allow monitoring any web-pages and news-sites depending on client’s requirements. The company’s database is refreshed daily with PDF-versions of leading daily and weekly national editions. TNS Media Intelligence also has a voluminous library of glossies, specialized and regional editions.

All the materials are stored in an integrated database accessible for each client  via Internet. The software designed specially for this project allows clients searching and analyzing information in the database under constrained parameters.

Information reports (press-clipping) are provided daily, weekly, or monthly. On a daily base TNS Media Intelligence delivers mass-media reviews on a definite theme with summaries of all published materials in Russian and/or in English. Full versions of publications are delivered in electronic and/or printed form.

Preliminary quantitative and/or qualitative analysis of selected materials is held after daily monitoring results are available. Standard quantitative analysis contains information on total quantity of references, advertising equivalent of publications, information activity dynamics and its share in various mass-media (television, printings, etc.), newsbreaks and so on. Reports contain data on verious mass-media audience size and sope (extracted fron TNS Russia syndicated media research).

Analytical reviews are delivered quarterly and yearly in any form convenient to Client.
